proFTPD

I trying to setup a FTP server for my Apache server... I am behind a firewall so I need to set it up to work on ports that I forward it to. This is what I have right now in my conf file

# This is a basic ProFTPD configuration file (rename it to
# 'proftpd.conf' for actual use. It establishes a single server
# and a single anonymous login. It assumes that you have a user/group
# "nobody" and "ftp" for normal operation and anon.

ServerName "FireFox Networks"
ServerType standalone
DefaultServer on

# Port 21 is the standard FTP port.
Port 21

# Umask 022 is a good standard umask to prevent new dirs and files
# from being group and world writable.
Umask 022

# To prevent DoS attacks, set the maximum number of child processes
# to 30. If you need to allow more than 30 concurrent connections
# at once, simply increase this value. Note that this ONLY works
# in standalone mode, in inetd mode you should use an inetd server
# that allows you to limit maximum number of processes per service
# (such as xinetd).
MaxInstances 30

# Set the user and group under which the server will run.
User ftpuser
Group ftpgroup

# To cause every FTP user to be "jailed" (chrooted) into their home
# directory, uncomment this line.
DefaultRoot ~

# Normally, we want files to be overwriteable.
<Directory />
AllowOverwrite on
</Directory>

# A basic anonymous configuration, no upload directories. If you do not
# want anonymous users, simply delete this entire <Anonymous> section.
<Anonymous ~ftp>
User ftp
Group ftp

# We want clients to be able to login with "anonymous" as well as "ftp"
UserAlias anonymous ftp

# Limit the maximum number of anonymous logins
MaxClients 10

# We want 'welcome.msg' displayed at login, and '.message' displayed
# in each newly chdired directory.
DisplayLogin welcome.msg
DisplayFirstChdir .message

# Limit WRITE everywhere in the anonymous chroot
<Limit WRITE>
DenyAll
</Limit>
</Anonymous>

AccessGrantMsg "Welcome back FIREFOX"

<VirtualHost 192.168.1.102>

# set server parameters
ServerName "FIREFOX NETWORKS"
ServerAdmin "admin@some.other.localnet.com"
Port 21

# set default umask
Umask 022

# set the user and group for the server process
User ftpuser
Group ftpgroup

# jail users to their home areas
DefaultRoot ~

# set root directory for anonymous users to /home/ftp
<Anonymous /home/hosts/olympus/ftp>

# set the user and group for the server process
User ftp
Group ftp

# alias "anonymous" login to "ftp"
UserAlias anonymous ftp

# restrict "anonymous" users from writing data
<Directory *>
<Limit WRITE>
DenyAll
</Limit>
</Directory>

</Anonymous>

</VirtualHost>

What I want to do is have all my server stuff under the IP 192.168.1.102.... what am I doing wrong, as I currently can not connect to the FTP server from a computer out side my network. But I can connect to Apache out side my network.

I have opened both port 20 and 21.... and at one point even 22. The server is running as I can access it local, and like I said I can access my Apache server outside of my network.

Any idea's?

I could be wrong but it looks like you are trying to use your private internal IP and access it over the internet. You need to use your public ip to access services from the net.
