Professional Linux Surveillance

Hello,

I've asked this in another forum but didn't get a responce. So here I am asking you guys. I'm in the need of some sort of Linux based surveillance software. I'm talking about something like zoneminder, but something not quite as beta. I need something well established, supported, well professional (/w GUI interface). I've googled around a lot - but have yet to find anything like that. I have no problems spending a few hundred on the software - but I would like it to be linux compataible. If anybody knows of such software that would be great.

Any help would be loved,

servo

I've checked it out before - not really what I need. I need something a lot more developed, and easy to use. Since I'm not going to be using the system but rather the owner it really needs to be 'simple'.

Since you don't say what kind of surveillance (local network, bad guy in black hat, etc), I'll just point you in the general dirrection. Go to www.google.com/linux, and enter the search keywords 'network surveillance', and start reading.

Since unfortunately google also gives this one good page rank, I'll note it here, as well.
Also very good is motion http://www.lavrsen.dk/foswiki/bin/view/Motion/WebHome (I am not a member of the motion dev team or in any way related to them, just noting its existence for followers).
Thank you.
