Hello,

I have been looking for a good Linux music player, and have tried many such as Amarok, Clementine, etc., and am using Nightingale right now with Beets to manage the actual library.

The reason I tried the the music players above is that they allow syncing select playlists (created in those players) and the associated songs to my Android phone pretty easily in an iTunes-like way. However, I am interested in trying other, simpler music players such as CMUS, MOC, MPD, etc.

As far as I know, those players do not sync playlists and songs to external devices on their own. Therefore, assuming I continue to use Beets to manage my library, what is a procedure to sync playlists and songs to my Android phone and keep them in sync as I add/edit playlists? And how do I create those playlists to begin with?
