probs with mysql


i am unable to stopp the mysqld service...

i am using FC-3

no log is also available for this particular error

however the service is up

any help?

Is it just the default installation? Try:
service mysql stop

This is the brutal way to do it.
on a command line, as root:

Code:
killall mysqld
