problems with xmms and realone

I have reinstalled my OS for some reasons yesterday
And I installed the realone rmp sucessfully
but when I played some movies(rm) , nothing responded but the player interface disapeared
another problem was not easy either
I have installed the mp3 plugin for xmms
however it could not play any MP3s
and the last problem is that
when I ran as "root" the xmms could play WMAs
but when ran as other accont it could not
can anyone tell the how settle the problem
thanks for the useful replies

No experience with realone but I've am always having similar issues with XMMS. Sorry, can't help you out specific to your distro... but in my experience XMMS has high dependancy requirements. I would first make sure that all the dep's are met.
