Problems with XCDRoast
 

Hi

After installing this and running for the first time as root I get this error message: Warning * * * installation problem No set-uid on /usr/bin/mkisofs
Warning * * * * installation problem No set-uid on /usr/bin/readcd

What is wrong?

Also I cant choose my cddrive for reader, only my cd-rw

Anyone ?

I dunno why you get that error but I can tell you why you cant select your normal cd rom in xcdroast.
Try the command as root "cdrecord -scanbus" & I bet you it only sees your burner ??
If you are using lilo you will have to add something like "hda=ide-scsi" in to /etc/lilo.conf.
Once you have done that run /sbin/lilo & reboot & try the cdrecord -scanbus command again & you should see the 2 drive's

Just an idea but you might want to check the permissions on /usr/bin/mkisofs
