Problems with Radeo tv-out setup

I cant seem to get the tv-out to work on my radeon, its a 9100, and im running mandrake 10. I DLed the ATI drivers, made and installed them, when i run fglrxconfig it works fine, but when i let it write the XFree86config-4 file and run startx the monitor goes out like it gets no signal, i looked up the h-sync and v-sync ranges for my monitor (samsung syncmaster 955DF) and set them from the manual. Anyone have any ideas? Is there a way to get the tv-out to work with the drivers mandrake uses by default?

Bill
