Angry the squirrel bites back

I have a slackware vpopmail+qmail+courier mailserver that can be accessed correctly both from port 110 and port 443 with the same logins and passwords.
if I try to login from squirrelmail it answers me that the login is wrong. Doing a tcpdump I have seen that it was not giving the correct login name I wrote. It sended to the server something like '1' in spite of the correct user@domain I wrote, what can I do ??
