Problems with Kylix and KDE

I install Kylix3 n my RH8, KDE. When i start it everything works fine, but i cant see text on GUI. It is mean that buttons, labels checkboxes and other stuff have no text. For example i have no text in object inspector, except of window name 'object inspector'. Maybe someone have the same problem ?? Please write to me about your solution. Sorry for poor english.

I had the same problem on Debian, while I was using UTF-8 as a system settings. Running kylix with

Code:

LANG=en_US LC_CTYPE=en_US startbcb

all the menus looked fine. Hope this helped.
