Problems with IE 5.5 in latest WINE (20040716) and Franks Corner Tutorial

Any idea how I can get this up and running? I'd much rather run IE 5.5 locally and in realtime than use a delayed pay-service like www.browsercam.com to view how my website looks in legacy browsers ;) I used the CAB files from browsers.evolt.org for IE 5.5 SP2. |
i'm sorry if i seem to be rude, but the whole point of using linux is to get away from using microsoft. mozilla is better, period. i even use mozilla firefox on my windows partition. it'll do everything that IE does, only better and safer. you can download it from www.mozilla.org.
also, read this. it's from US-CERT, part of the US Department of Homeland Security. http://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/713878 |
