Unhappy Problems with compilation - "nothing to be done for `install-exec-am'."


Hi, I have problem on Mandriva 2006. Whatever I install from source fail. command ./configure run over without mistake. Then I use command su -c "make install" it works for some time but at last it wrote this report:

Did you run "make" before make install?

Also there are plenty of websites with rpm binaries. Have you tried looking for it there. Here's one.

Yes, I have tried command make with the same result.
I know RPMfind but karamba is here for MDR only in version 0.32 but its too old.

There is a mandriva rpm packager that SK devs work closely with when doing releases.

I tryied to reinstall linux but with the same rusult. I canīt compile any source. I donīt know why. Thank you for your advices.

the output you posted is correct with no errors.
