Problems with AntiVir GUI

Hello,
This morning, I installed AntiVir on my Red Hat Linux 9 server remotely with VNC. (By the way, the install was successful) This evening, I tried running the GUI AntiVir (which came in the AntiVir package) and even though I had installed Java 1.4.2 from www.java.com, it says

antivir-gui

WARNING: root is not in `antivir' group

ERROR: No Java found on this system.

Java 1.4.x is needed.

Can anyone tell my what is wrong here.

The java installation was successful too!

Is there any other GUI for AntiVir that I can use if I can't get this one to work.

Thanks for any help!

-Derek
