hey_fidel LQ Newbie Registered: Nov 2004 Distribution: fedora core 2 Posts: 2 Rep:	problems whit synaptic hi there, i have fedora core 2, recently i download apt-get and then synaptic and my kernel was 2.6.5-1.328 then i download the kernel 2.6.8-1.521 everythig is right but when i try to use synaptic the folowwing message comes up: segment violation and synaptic never open WHAT CAN IDO? i want to uninstall synaptic and install it again but i culd'nt. please help me i am new in linux
