Problems while configuring MRTG

Hello,

I installed an MRTG on a linux mashine and everything looks quite well until I tried to start cfgmaker with public@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx which is my cisco gateway IP. My linux IP is set on my cisco's access list and the cisco router is running snmp. But I recieve the following error: "SNMP Error: no response received".

I wonder where is the problem. I will be grateful if you can help me finding it out.

Make sure you're accessing the correct community string name... if not, it won't respond to the request.
