Hi
I just downloaded Winetools (from a library comp, btw) to use on my stand alone computer, on which I run Fedora Core 4 (if that's of any relevance).
However, I noticed that when Winetools in the Basic Setup, tries to download e.g. DCOM98, it does not give the option to install from a different location (i.e. my desktop). This might be great for those with broadband, but not for those without the internet!
So I tried installing DCOM98 manually, outside of Winetools just using Wine as standard, but Winetools did not recognise it, and said I hadn't installed it. Anybody know how to get round problems like this?
I also had difficulties when trying to install Internet Explorer 6 for use in Winetools, it of course being a basic requirement as the installer wouldn't let me install it as I don't have an internet connection! (I downloaded IE6 separately from a library computer too)
Help me if you can,
thanks.
