Problems using lynx and w3m browsers
I need to use a text browser to access a web page on my US Robotics ethernet hub. This will allow me to clone the MAC address from the PC to the hub.
I did this before when the PC ran Windows 95, but now need to redo it using Redhat Linux 9, running in text mode only - not enough resources for X Windows.
The web page include a form button which I need to press to clone the MAC address.
With w3m, I can tab to the correct form button. But I don't seem to be able to press it. There is no key assigned to the submit form command, and the help file gives no indication of what the command is in order to let me. The Redhat installation of w3m seems to be missing a lot of things that the manual says are there, like lynx emulation.
With lynx, I can press form buttons using the Return key. However, I cannot get to the button I want. Using tab just cycles round two fields and two buttons at the top of the HTML page, the focus never goes to any of the six buttons at the bottom of the page.
I cannot even look at the HTML code to see if there is something wierd that is upsetting the browsers - the page uses frames and so I cannot see the content of the individual frames.
Any suggestions how I can solve my problem? I apologise if everything is not well described - I am posting this from work and so cannot see the setup or files of my home PC where the problem is.
I'd post from home except the problem is stopping me get connected to the internet.
