Problems reading PDF on Browsers

Hi everyone!

I'm having problems on reading files on .PDF format from my
browsers. I use Mandrake 9.0, w/Mozilla 1.5 & Netscape 7.1. I've downloaded the
Acrobat Reader 5.08 recomended on the plugins page of Netscape, made a simbol link to
nppdf.so as shown below:

[root@localhost plugins]# ls -l
total 28
drwxr-xr-x 6 root root 4096 Dec 18 01:02 java2/
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 50 Dec 19 01:27 libjavaplugin_ojigcc3.so ->
/opt/IBMJava2-141/jre/bin/libjavaplugin_ojigcc3.so*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 72 Dec 19 00:57 libjavaplugin_oji.so ->
/usr/java/j2sdk1.4.2_03/jre/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32/libjavaplugin_oji.so*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 21056 Oct 7 20:49 libnullplugin.so*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 48 Dec 19 14:27 nppdf.so ->
/usr/local/Acrobat5/Browsers/intellinux/nppdf.so
[root@localhost plugins]#

Here, the s-link to the nppdf.so doesn't appear in green as the others does.
Can anyone help me out here.
Thanks;

Try copying the file nppdf.so to you plugins directory instead of linking it.

You may find this useful: http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/linux.html
