Problems installing TCL/TK in Fedora C2
I recently arrive to the world of linux, I installed Fedora Core 2 on my system, everything went good on the instalation process, the problem is that I want to install AMSN (you know that in order to AMSN work TCL TK must be installed on the system) I dont know if those libraries are installed by default or came on the Fedora's CDs, so I downloaded them version 8.4, compiled and installed TCL without a glitch, so I proceed to do the same with TK, the ./configure command works well, but then when I run the "make" command I get errors on all the process. Is there another way to install TK, rpm package? or what can i do to resolve the "make" problem?

Try up2date tk
Worked on this problem for me. Problem arises because the old tcltk rpm has been split up nowadays. T |
