Unhappy Problems installing Linux

i want to install linux on my laptop acer amd aspire 5002nwlmi.
i tried installing different versions of linux but after initial detection of hardware the installation hangs.i ve tried in both the modes of installation but doesnt go through.Is there a hardware issue,its not detecting anything..?
Please help.

1. "Urgent" is not a descriptive title likely to get you much help.

2. You need to provide some details if you expect a serious response. The exact distro you're installing, what exactly you did, what messages you see, etc...

The more detail you provide the more likely it is that someone can help you.

A few things to consider....more information may be needed

As the subject states, it would be difficult to give you specific advise based on the information you have provided.

I had trouble installing Linux on my new Toshiba Satelite M64 until I used Kubuntu. It did not detect my lan card, but wifi works like a champ.

A few thing for me to ask or for you to find out:
What hardware is inside your laptop?
What type of Linux are you wanting to try?
