Problems installing emacs 21.4

My kernel is 2.6.9-1.667smp and I am running Fedora Core 3.

I am trying to install emacs 21.4, configure script ran fine, but when I do make, I get the following. What is going on?

I don't know what's going on there. But can't you find some binaries? You shouldn't have to build it from source.

FC3 has Emacs 21.3: "yum install emacs"
FC4 has the latest Emacs 21.4

i think this is a problem with the emacs.spec file

try to find the line
%{l_make} %{l_mflags -O}
and change it to
setarch i386 %{l_make} %{l_mflags -O}

worth a try anyway
