Friends, I have been dying to try Fedora Core 2. I literally have downloaded the ISO images (from multiple sources) as many as 8 times. Each time, the MD5 signatures check out with no problem.
I've been then creating the CDROMs from the ISO images that I've downloaded. Each time I create the 4 CDROMs with no problem (e.g., no errors from my CD Burning program).
However, once I begin the FC2 installation, I reach the section of the installer that offers to check the installation CDROMs for errors. MY CDROMs always fail this check!!!
Is this a known issue? Am I doing something incorrect? Help!
Thank you, homey -- but in fact what happens to me is that the install fails, citing corrupted media or a failed checksum (which obviously isn't the case).
I have only tried 2 different brands of CD-RW for these ISO images, but I'm tempted to rule that out as a problem since I have used the same CD-RW spindle to create other CDROMs from ISO images... Weird, ain't it?
