Problems Compiling QT-3.0.3
 

I'm having some problems trying to compile QT-3.0.3 (so I can see how good or not so good KDE 3 is). I have read the instructions stated in the INSTALL file (in the qt-x11-free-3.0.3.tar.gz file) and the documentation at http://www.kde.org/install-source.html

But I keep getting this error message after doing make:
make [2]:*** [.obj/release-mt/qapplication_x11.o] Error 1
make [2]: Leaving directory '/qt-x11-free-3.0.3/src'
make [1]: *** [sub-src] Error 2
make [1]: Leaving directory '/qt-x11-free-3.0.3'
make: *** [init] Error 2

BTW: The Distro I'm using is Mandy 8.2 & I'm pretty sure I'm using gcc-2.95.3 (I compiled it with gcc-2.96 and then uninstalled gcc-2.96 afterwards)

Is there something I have to install before QT 3.0.3 or what. Do I need to change any of the tools used to compile it. :newbie:

Doesn't anyone have any clues??? :(

Get the mandrake rpm's.
