Problems compiling kopete under MDK10

Hi,

I've just downloaded the new Kopete and I ran configure, which went alright.

Now I've ran make:

...
libtool: link: warning: `/usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.la' seems to be moved
libtool: link: warning: `/usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.la' seems to be moved
collect2: ld terminated with signal 11 [Segmentation fault]
make[5]: *** [kopete_autoreplace.la] Error 1
make[5]: Leaving directory `/home/boudewijn/kopete-0.8.4/kopete/plugins/autoreplace'
make[4]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[4]: Leaving directory `/home/boudewijn/kopete-0.8.4/kopete/plugins/autoreplace'
make[3]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/boudewijn/kopete-0.8.4/kopete'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/boudewijn/kopete-0.8.4'
make: *** [all] Error 2

What's wrong?

While I first ran make it told me it couldn't find:

`/usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.la'

So I googled it, got the file and put it in its right path (`/usr/X11R6/lib/').

Does somebody know what I'm doing wrong?

Thank you in advance

it seems like ld is crashing on you, which isn't good. you may want to see if there's an update to the mandrake package that contains ld and see if that fixes it.

CVS version (Stable) compiles fine, so I don't think I'll try to solve the error.

Could it be caused by running beta\rc software? (KDE, kernel etc)
