problem with xine player

Hi,
I use FC-4. I m having some problems installing xine player.I have installed xine lib-1.1.1 and after setting all the paths properly ,I installed xine-ui-0.99.4 (src)
There was no dependency problem during installation. But after completion i couldn't find the xine executable in my usr/local/bin or elsewhere(!). Xine check finds every thing good except xine executable.
Can anyone help me with suggestions.
Dipu
