Problem with XINE
 

I'm trying to play an avi file on my computer with XINE, but I get the following error:

Xine Engine Error:

There is no available demuxer plugin to handle "path to the avi file".

Does anyone know anything about this or alternatively a good player to mpeg and avi movies, as well as asf etc.

try installing avifile http://rpmfind.net//linux/RPM/ASP/so...4.asp.src.html
