problem with wine
 
hi every body
i installed wine and when i write wincfg this problem happened

Don't run wine as root. You should be using your day-to-day user for all non-admin tasks. If you have opened a terminal and done "su -" to switch to root, this is why - the root user's environment will have been set, over-writing the DISPLAY variable which is used by all X-windows programs to find out which Xserver to display the GUI on.

but i didn't understand the point aout display??

If you start a terminal window as your normal user who is logged in graphically, and do not su to root, you should be able to run wine as that user. In short, don't run wine as root.
