problem with Window Maker


hi

i downloaded the WM source,compiled and tryed to switchdesk to it..
i even got the reply Xserver updated successully and that i needed to restart the X server to get WM..i even removed the .Xclients file as suggested..but on restarting X i get an error like maybe the bin is not good or some directory is missing ..so i cannot get in to WM..

what should i do..
