hi Please note this also

i have the same errors when i tried compiling vocal 1.5.0, but on rhel as4
i am using gcc-3.4.6-3 for compiling the code.

i dont know if i am right or not.... but the compilers are backward compatible right...so they shud not pose a problem of compiling due to version not matching...??

i also would appreciate if anyone has an answer to both queries
