Problem with Video players

I've tried using Vlc, kaffeine, xine, gxine but I don't know what's the real problem. Everytime I open a video there are horizontal lines at some places, as if the video is getting stuck. I'm using Intel 945G with core 2 Duo. I've changed my Driver to "i810" in xorg.conf. Is there anything else I need to do? Can any Intel user post his/her xorg.conf? Also will upgrading the kernel help? Btw I have tried disabling the deinterlace option still dint help.

Maybe incorrect driver. Please specify:

1. Linux distro & version
2. motherboard make/type
3. video card make/model
4. screen make/model
5. contents of xorg.conf
