I have the following problem with Mandriva Linux,

When I'm starting my PC this message appears:

Filesystem is NOT clean
Filesystem seems to have fatal corruptions. Running with --rebuild-tree is required. [FAILED]


*** An error occurred during the file system check
*** Dropping you to a sheel; the system will reboot when you leave the shell.
Give root password for maintenance
(I give the root password and then)

Repair filesystem 1 #

so that's all.

I usually work with Linux but I don't know so much about its filesystem and I have never heard this problem.

I have seen similar problems in these forums but i'm afraid of losing all my data.

Could someone help me?
