Problem with the command

Hi,
Any advice to this problem?

[root@hpi5 /]# find / -name 'lsnrctl.*'
find: /proc/3300/net: Invalid argument

I can't see any problem, it looks like normal (expected) behaviour. What are you looking for?

What OS/Distro is this on? And do you really want to look down the /proc tree?

have you typed it exactly like this, with single quotes?
then i don't see why it throws an error.
why are you running it as root?
what's in /proc/3300/net?

/proc is full of transient data. It is entirely possible that the process being scanned exited before the directory scan was complete. This would leave find with an invalid path.

This is entirely normal for /proc. It isn't exactly an error.
