Problem with SAPGui installation

hello everybody,

i've installed Linux Suse 8.1 (Kde 3) about 2 months ago and now I would like to install the SAPGui for Java.
The installation finished without problems but when I try to execute the shell script for the SAP Logon, i receive this error:

"bash: guilogon: command not found"

The installation manual says to set the following variables PLATIN_JAVA_VER (with the Java version installed on my pc) and PLATIN_JAVA (with the full path of the directory where java is installed) but i've no idea how to do it.

May someone help me??

Thanks a lot!!!

java version is 1.4.2_01 and the path usr/java/j2re1.4.2_01/bin/

... sorry for my bad english ...
