problem with samba upgrade

I'm new here, please excuse me for my english, but I'm Italian

I've Slackware -current (upgraded with swaret) I need to share resources with windows (I'm in LAN with DHCP).
With Samba 2.x.x I haven't any problem, but if I upgraded with samba 3.x.x when I mount a resources the operation endured for few minutes, that don't happend with samba 2.x.x..

Can you help me?
