problem with nm-applet

I was terribly stupid cancellig the nm-applet from the panel, now I'm not be able to restart the applet and use it from my upper panel.

if I try to execute it from the terminal, occur the error message:

(nm-applet:5703): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "cleanice"

so I downloaded again the "NetworkManager-0.6.5" to reinstall it, but when I execute the <./configure> occurr the error:

configure: error: wireless-tools >= 28pre9 not installed or not functional
but the wireless-tools module 29.0 is already installed on my machine...

what to do to reuse the nm-applet??

please help me!

You should be able to re add the applet to the panel. You are using gnome ? I'm afraid I'm a kde guy, so I don't know exactly how gnome goes about it, but in kde you would just have to right click the panel and click add applet, and a big list would pop up, and you pick the one you want. It doesn't work that way in gnome ? Or it should but it isn't ?
