Problem with Mailman & Postfix
 

I am running Debian 3.3 and kernel 2.4.27.

Our mailman MailLists were not working so I went to /home/mailman/mail/ and did a

chmod +s wrapper

wrapper has group list and owner list. since it needed to have set-gid bit

This works, but after sending one or two e-mails the config.db files for our lists go from owner/group list/list to root/root, and this causes undeliverable mail errors since we don't have permission to read the config.db database.

I was wondering if anyone can explain why this is happening.

Also I would like to say that I am a newbie, so please be thorough in your explanations.
