Problem with mail delivery procmail>cyrus imap (using sendmail, procmail, cyrus, imap)

Hi all
Im running Fedora core 3.
I'm trying to use sendmail, cyrus-imap, postfix and squirrelmail (all installed using yum).

I managed to configure everything so that I could (over SSL) use squirrelmail. Initially, I was using dovecot imap but unfortunately I was unable to get squirrelmail to work with shared folders this way. The squirrelmail documentation said that I needed to use Cyrus in order to get this to work.
I figured that replacing the imap server would be the easiest way. One full day later I understand that I was wrong. This is a nightmare and I'm hoping that theres someone out there who could give me a pointer in the right direction.

The problem:
If I send a mail from an external (to my server) mail server, the mail gets delivered without any errormessages. I can use /bin/mail successfully from the commandline when logged onto my mailserver - can read the message without any problems.
When using Thunderbird to get my mail (using imap) I can log on (TLS/SSL works fine) without any error messages. The only problem is that I never see any mail.

another example:
Prior to replacing dovecot with cyrus, I was able to use squirrelmail to read/send emails - now, Im only able to send mail - not to read.

I cant see any relevant messages in my /var/log/maillog or /var/log/messages

I suspect that this has something to do with procmail delivering mail to some incorrect location but Im not sure (dont have the experience to tell for sure).
What do I need to do in order for procmail to play nicely with cyrus ?
Do I need to tell procmail to deliver mail in some other way?
What way?
.. or to some other place?
How? which configuration files do I need to modify?

And please, dont say "replace sendmail with qmail", "replace cyrus with xxx". I've already gone through this once (swapping out the MTA, imap server for something else) and the only effect it had was that I got nowhere but it took me weeks to get there.

Please! - Im desperate for some assistance..

This is what I've got installed atm:
cyrus-sasl-2.1.19-3
cyrus-imapd-murder-2.2.10-3.fc3
cyrus-sasl-md5-2.1.19-3
cyrus-imapd-2.2.10-3.fc3
cyrus-imapd-nntp-2.2.10-3.fc3
cyrus-imapd-devel-2.2.10-3.fc3
cyrus-sasl-plain-2.1.19-3
cyrus-imapd-utils-2.2.10-3.fc3
sendmail-8.13.1-2
sendmail-cf-8.13.1-2
procmail-3.22-14
squirrelmail 1.4.3a-6.FC3

Any help would be welcome..

FIXED

Found what I needed on page 5 of this document:
http://www.assl-site.net/docs/docs/s...ap-maildir.pdf
It basically describes the entry to /etc/procmailrc or $HOME/.procmailrc that has to be made in order for procmail to deliver to the right maildir

well i think u should upgrade to the latest stable version of squirrelmail 1.4.4. It fixed many bugs.
