Problem with installation for XMMS-mp3-plugin, Fedora Core 2.
 
I tried to install the mp3-plugin for XMMS. Got the RPM from Freshrpms.
So , i logged in as root , wrote rpm -ivh xmms-mp3-1.2.10-2.2.p.1.fc2.fr.x86_64.rpm .
Then i got...Err...Just read that belove.

apt-get
 
Try a package manager such as apt-get or yum.

I believe www.xmms.org has the source RPM's for Red Hat / Fedora Core. You may want to try and remove the existing xmms packages and use those instead. Just an idea... I did that for my Turbolinux 10. Everything is working great now.

Use yum, worked fine for me.
