Problem with insatlling a Simulator-undefined symbol flock

hai guys,

I am a newbie using solaris.I am trying to insatll a Simulator for my project called Simplescalar.I am facing error called undefined symbol flock in syscall.o(of simulator).

Then I checked syscall.c of simulator.In it I cud find

#define OSF_SYS_flock 131

#if !defined(MIN_SYSCALL_MODE)
/* ADDED BY CALDER 10/27/99 */
case OSF_SYS_flock:
/* get flock() information on the file */
regs->regs_R[MD_REG_V0] =

/* check for an error condition */
if (regs->regs_R[MD_REG_V0] != (qword_t)-1)
regs->regs_R[MD_REG_A3] = 0;
else /* got an error, return details */
regs->regs_R[MD_REG_A3] = -1;
regs->regs_R[MD_REG_V0] = errno;

Is it because the complier cud not undersatand what is meant by flock.

Please help me.Eagerly waiting for ur reply

thanx in advance
