Problem with graphical installation
I am a new user to linux and i have got a fedora core 5 DVD from my friend. I am trying to install the fedora core 5 but after booting from the DVD-ROM the linux installation main page appears and when i start graphical installation the page appears as lines blurred in different colors. I have an intel D101GCC motherboard intel pentium 4 processor and graphic card is ATI RADEON EXPRESS 200 and my RAM is 256MB. Can anyone tell me what to do to install linux on to my system?

I would start by getting a version of Linux that is still supported. Fedora 10 is the current version of Fedora. Fedora core 5 hasn't been supported for several years. Fedora versions only seem to be supported for 1-1.5 years at most.
I would also suggest upgrading your Memory, 256 MB is low for Windows or Linux these days and RAM is dirt cheap..

I would recommend downloading a more recent version of Fedora (it's up to version 10, now) or just getting a different distribution altogether.
Due to the low amount of RAM on your system, I would definitely suggest a different distribution - perhaps Ubuntu, especially if you are just getting into Linux.
EDIT: Bah - farslayer beat me to the punch!
