problem with gaim


I am having fedora core 3 running on my pc.When i login into yahoo using gaim it gives me the error that "it is unable to connect". The gaim which i am using is an updated version .Please help me out

Yahoo keep updating their messenger service hance blocking out those from third parties. I don't know if that the problem though.

problem with gaim

But it is working fine in my friends pc.The diffrence is that i am using a wireless connection while my friend uses a wired lan connection.
