problem with exim4 and Maildir

I set up exim4 on a debian sarge, wanted an imap server so i installed courier-imap, and set up Maildirs for all my users. I based my work on (I didnt get to the procmail/spamassasin part):

http://www.win.tue.nl/~martijna/Debianstuff/

and some other howtos...

everything works fine, except that one user (me) still gets his mail under:

/var/mail/myuser

instead of:

/home/myuser/Maildir

All other users (root, all my friends that have access to my computer via ssh, etc..etc..)
get their mail in their Maildir folders.

I can connect to my IMAP folder, and move emails from Mozilla, but of course, there are no emails there because they all go to /var/mail/myuser

Ive gone through the exim configuration and i havent seen anything that makes an "exception" for my user.

Ive gone through my profile, i didnt find anything "special either"

thanks
