Exclamation problem with enlightenment desktop in FC5 ( and

i hav been trying to install enlightenment desktop in my fc5
.....but all the pacakges need and . so i tried installing openssl containing these libraries....but FC5 comes with newer openssl package and has and and i cant uninstall as lot of pakages need the new openssl

so i tried to make symlink with ln command in /usr/lib

but that too didnt work.....i hav same problems with other packages too...they need an older version....

can anyone help me sorting out this dependency hell
