Problem with configure and make commands Suse 9.3
I am running Suse 9.3. I did an upgrade from 9.1. I am trying to compile a tar.gz that I downloaded. I extracted the files. When I go to console and type ./configure or sh ./configure in the src directory as the instructions directed, I get the following error:
checking for gcc... no
checking for cc... no
checking for cc.. no
configure:error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH
See 'config.log' for more details.
I looked at this file but I have no idea of what any of this means. I did a full install and there were no errors so I should have a compiler somewhere??? I have no idea of what to try next. Anyone got any ideas? I would greatly appreciate it.
