Problem with Citrix

I am trying to connect to my office network via Citrix.

I have all the necessary rights to the remote system and I have installed the ICAClient and created the link in my Browser plugin folder. I use Firefox.

I have installed the latest Java from the Sun Website and linked that in the plugin folder. Java is enabled in the settings in Firefox.

When I try to connect (in the same way we use in XP - using https://vpn.<office website>), I only connect with Web access, rather than Web and System as it shoud do. The error message is:

An Aventail access agent is not available on your computer for one of the following reasons:

ActiveX not enabled
Java not enabled
No Java Virtual Machine available
Restricted privileges
Connection error

I have successfully logged in to the VPN, but after I authenticate to eDirectory on the network (which is successful), when I try to run any applications, I get an error saying 'no access to 127.0.0.10' The last octet varies, but always 127.0.0.*. I understand this means the loopback settings have not been made correctly.

Any thoughts please? I don't want to have to switch back to XP each time I am required to connect to the office from Home.

Edit - I tried using Konqueror and get exactly the same error - so I assume it is my machine rather than the Browser. Not sure if that helps.
