Problem trying to make a video DVD with k3b

I am having a problem trying to burn a DVD with k3b.

I am selecting the option 'make a new video dvd project' and dragging a mpg file to the video_ts folder shown by k3b. When I select burn it fails and shows an error code:-

:-( unable to pread64(2) primary volume descriptor: Input/output error you most likely want to use -Z option.

No idea what this means am afraid. Any help appreciated.

My system is suse 64 bit version 10.0 kde 3.4

I believe you first need to encode the mp3 file into a .vob file. Then you can place the .vob file into the VIDEO_TS folder and burn it to a DVD.

K3b has an encoding tool so you may use that or you can use audacity.
