problem to install j2sdk1.3 j2re1.3

fellas, i wanna try to install the j2sdk1.3 on the debian, but i get the following errors:

apt-get -f install j2sdk1.3 j2re1.3

Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
j2re1.3: Depends: locales but it is not going to be installed
E: Sorry, broken packages

anybody can help me?

i'd try downloading source packages from i use jre now, but when i worked on RedHat i used sdk once, and that's how i installed it.
