Problem starting squidguard
 

I have installed squidguard and configured it with the simple conf file to block the porn sites

But i am facing a problem during staring it

when i start the squidguard

it does not give any error but does not comes back to the prompt

when checked the log of squidguard it says it is running...

and also it does not restrict the sites mentioned in the db


Please help

It shows up when you type ps -A? If so double check you conf file for correct syntax, or post it and we'll have a look..

I think there is some problem with the conf file
 

It is now working but only for particular site

for example playboy.com

but not working for the expressions and many sites like

sex.com
boobs.com

my location of the database is

/usr/local/squidGuard/db/porn/urls
/usr/local/squidGuard/db/porn/expressions
/usr/local/squidGuard/db/porn/domains


please check this conf file for me and tell me the error if possible
