Problem Starting Second X session DRI failure
Hey,
I've been trying to figure out how to minimize fullscreen games in gnome but pretty much gave up and decided just to start a new X server.
start the X server with
# X :1.0
the X session starts ok but I get the following message in the terminal:
[i](EE) I810(0): [dri] DRIScreenInit failed. Disabling DRI.[i]
and when I started up NWN I obviously got the "Failed to is initialize graphics"
The DRI works fine on my first X Session as evidenced by
# glxinfo | grep rendering
but shows "no" for the new session if i start up an xterm in it.
X stats:
X Protocol Version 11, Revision 0, Release 6.7
Build Operating System: Linux 2.4.21-14.ELsmp i686 [ELF]
Current Operating System: Linux 2.6.8-1.521 #1 Mon Aug 16 09:01:18 EDT 2004 i686
/var/log/Xorg.2.log can be found at www27.brinkster.com/steveo/x.txt (sorry they wont let me post urls yet)
Any ideas? Assistance would be greatly appreciated. If you need me to post any logs or anything just lemme know.
