Problem Squid Proxy Installation
Guys help regarding this problem, I tried to install Squid Web proxy
loading cache ./config.cache checking for a BSD compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c checking whether build environment is sane... yes checking for mawk... no checking for gawk... gawk checking whether make sets ${MAKE}... yes checking whether to enable maintainer-specific portions of Makefiles... no checking for gcc... no checking for cc... no configure: error: no acceptable cc found in $PATH After I downloaded squid-2.5.STABLE7 and save it to /home/usr/Documents directory and run tar command and ./configure in the same directory got an error..... I tried to run make make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop. what should I do? where directory or path should I put to run Squid proxy cache? by the way I'm using mandrake 10.0 Linux... hope to help me guys, thanks in advance... - Cyber |
