Problem running flock as a non-root user

I downloaded, unzipped, untared the flock browser package. i am using Debian etch. i was able to run flock as root user but when i tried running it as a normal user I got the following error :

Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

(flock-bin:5270): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:

What could be the possible reason and solution?

Thanks & Regards,
vineet
